So I wasn't home to see Bradley Wiggins cross the line as the winner of the 99th Tour de France or to see Cav win his 4th Champs Elysee stage in a row and I will forver be a little bit sad but to be honest? I'm basically still at a pitch of emotion too high to be able to explain and actually watching it might have killed me :-P

So the Tour de France has started! In fact today is only stage 2 and we've already had

• customised bikes (George Hincapie now holds the record for most Tour de France starts- 17! and he's finished all but one of those) (well obviously he also hasn't finished this one yet) (#dontgogeorge)
